If you want to buy the Action Indie-Darling Hades II for console, you will have to buy a certain platform first. Today, the makers have published a new video with fresh impressions via social media – and this also revealed that Hades II will initially be released exclusively for the new Nintendo Switch 2.
According to the Duskbloods from from software, Nintendo's new console has the next more well-known third party exclusive title. However, owners of an Xbox or Playstation do not have to be completely annoyed.

The wording “Launching First for Consoles on Nintendo Switch 2” implies that this is a temporal exclusivity. With a certain delay that has not yet been known to date, Hades II will later also open on the Microsoft and Sony consoles.
The video itself is a very interesting developer walkthrough with fresh insights into the very hyped sequel and the current level of development. The men from Supergiant Games promise more information about the title and the console version for later this year.
Hades II has been on the early access since 2024.
